Connecting Tools Overview
Connect DataHawk to your preferred BI tool or database, including Power BI, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Excel, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
Destinations give you direct access to your DataHawk data inside the tools you already use. Instead of manually exporting files, DataHawk builds and maintains a dedicated database for you, filled with all your collected data and refreshed automatically every day.
Which tool are you using?
Power BI (recommended)
Connect via Snowflake to DataHawk's pre-built Power BI templates.
Looker Studio
Connect via BigQuery to the Analytics Essentials Looker Studio template.
Google Sheets
Connect via BigQuery to pull DataHawk data directly into Google Sheets.
Excel
Connect via Snowflake to pull DataHawk data into Excel.
Snowflake
Direct Snowflake access for SQL editors, Tableau, and other BI tools.
BigQuery
Direct BigQuery access for SQL editors and other BI tools.
Writable Database Service
Push your own data into the DataHawk database.
How it works
When you add a destination, DataHawk creates a dedicated database hosted on either Snowflake or BigQuery (depending on the tool you connect). This database is populated with all your DataHawk data and refreshed daily. No manual exports needed.
DataHawk refreshes your database every day, for both Snowflake and BigQuery. However, not all data is available at the same time. Some datasets are populated later in the day because Amazon's API does not deliver all data types on the same schedule. See the individual dataset pages in the Knowledge Hub for dataset-specific freshness details.
- Snowflake is the underlying database for Power BI, Excel, and SQL-based tools.
- BigQuery is the underlying database for Looker Studio and Google Sheets.
Each destination guide includes the database setup step inline. You don't need to set up the database separately before starting.
What data is available?
All data you collect through your DataHawk workspace is available via the Destinations of your choice:
- Product data: Tracked products, listings, sales ranks, search rankings (organic and sponsored)
- Seller Central data: Orders, profit & loss, financial events, traffic
- Vendor Central data: Revenue, financial events, traffic
- Advertising data: Aggregated per account, campaign, or product
- DataHawk KPIs: Sales estimates, keyword search volume, and more
