Amazon Product Pricing & Offers Intelligence
How DataHawk tracks daily product offers, prices, and Buy Box information, and the data structure behind it.
DataHawk tracks daily product offers, prices, and featured offer (Buy Box) information for every product you monitor. This gives you a continuous, historical view of pricing movements and competitive offer dynamics on Amazon.
What you can use it for
- Price monitoring and alerts: Track how your prices and competitors' prices change day to day
- Buy Box tracking: See who holds the Buy Box, how often it rotates, and whether it is being suppressed
- Offer-level competition analysis: Understand how many sellers are competing on a listing and how their fulfillment methods (FBA vs FBM) differ
- Long-term trend analysis: Build a daily snapshot history of pricing and offer conditions for any product on Amazon
- Integration into BI tools, reporting, or ML models: Data is structured for direct use in dashboards and automated workflows
Refresh frequency
Data is delivered daily by default. Refresh frequency can be adjusted on demand, for example, twice a day or weekly, depending on your needs.
Data history
History is collected moving forward from the date tracking is activated. There is no backfill of historical data before activation.
Which products are covered
Seller-owned products (automatic): Products tied to a connected Seller account are auto-snapshotted daily without manual tracking. Enrichment runs for all paid customers' seller-owned products (checking listing, traffic, and order sources), so you get coverage by default when connecting an account.
Manually tracked products: Pricing & Offers Intelligence is also enabled for any product you explicitly track in DataHawk, including products outside your own catalog.
Buy Box and Top Sales Rank semantics
- Buy Box scope: DataHawk reports only the New-condition featured offer. Used-condition Buy Box information is no longer available.
buy_box_seller_uriis null: The field is no longer populated. UseFEATURED_SELLER_ID/FEATURED_SELLER_NAMEonAMZN_PRODUCT_FEATURED_OFFERto identify the Buy Box owner instead.- Top Sales Rank is the rank of the top-level category only, not the best rank across all ranking categories. This keeps performance monitoring consistent by limiting node switches.
