Data not refreshing

Stale numbers, missing recent days, refresh delays, or data that hasn't appeared yet after connecting an account.

Data in DataHawk hasn't updated when you expected it to. This is the second-most common issue category and usually resolves itself within 24 hours, but here's how to confirm.

Quick checks first

These resolve about half of all "not refreshing" reports.

  1. Did you connect the source within the last 24 hours? First ingestion takes up to 24 hours. There is no retroactive backfill before the connection date.
  2. Is the source account still healthy? OAuth tokens expire. Check Workspace → Integrations → status indicator on the affected account.
  3. Is this specific to one dataset? Some datasets refresh on different cadences (advertising = daily, vendor = weekly, SQP = monthly).
  4. Have you checked the Changelog for recent breaking changes? Methodology updates sometimes cause a one-time discontinuity.

Typical refresh cadences

Data typeRefresh cadenceFirst availability
Amazon Seller orders, finances, inventoryMultiple times daily~24 h after connection
Amazon Vendor sales, manufacturingWeekly (Amazon-side delay)Up to 7 days after connection
Amazon AdvertisingDaily~24 h after connection
Walmart MarketplaceDaily~24 h after connection
Search Query Performance (weekly)WeeklyOne week after connection
Search Query Performance (monthly)MonthlyOne month after connection
Sales EstimatesDaily, D-1 at 8 AM CESTImmediately for tracked categories
Catalog & Product detailsDaily~24 h
Public market data (SoV, ranks)Daily~24 h

If a dataset is older than its typical cadence + 24h grace period, it's worth investigating.

Common causes

  1. OAuth token expired. Most common cause after a few months of usage. Reconnect from Workspace → Integrations.

  2. Permissions revoked by a teammate. Someone in your org may have removed DataHawk's access during a routine permission cleanup. Verify in Amazon Seller Central → Settings → User Permissions.

  3. Amazon-side outage or slow report generation. Some Amazon reports take longer to stabilize, especially after Prime Day or quarterly closes. DataHawk surfaces the latest available data. If Amazon hasn't released it, neither can we.

  4. Marketplace launch delays. Some marketplaces have later support timelines (e.g. Amazon Ireland, Amazon Belgium for SEO_KEYWORD_VOLUME_V3 and REPORTS_SEO_PRODUCT_ORGANIC_RANK).

  5. Sponsored Ranks retired (July 2025). Amazon Standard Sponsored Ranks data was retired due to quality issues. If you're missing SEO.SEO_PRODUCT_SPONSORED_RANK data, the Premium Keywords add-on is now required.
