Profit Dataset improvements with deferred transactions and expanded fees

Profit reports now include deferred transactions and more event coverage; profit may shift but accuracy improves. No schema-breaking changes.

Major enhancements to the Profit dataset: your reports and dashboards now include more complete transaction data, with no changes required on your side.

What you can expect:

  • Profit dataset now shows most recent Amazon transactions: Reports and dashboards include these previously hidden amounts, giving a truer picture of profitability.
  • Your Profit metrics might evolve: Profit metrics now include deferred transactions and new cost events, which can make reported profit lower but more accurate.

Technical highlights:

  • Visibility on deferred (delayed) transactions with new columns (Ledger table only):
    • New transaction_status column with values: DEFERRED, DEFERRED_RELEASED, RELEASED
    • New deferral_reason column with values: DD7 (Delivery Date +7), B2B
  • Expanded event coverage:
    • Promotion Discount events now captured in Events (previously only in Orders)
    • More coverage for these FBA fees: Inbound Defect Fee, Per Unit Fulfillment Fee, Disposal Fee (may be delayed in Financial Events)
    • Customer Return Per Unit Fee (may be delayed in Financial Events)
  • Richer product and marketplace data:
    • ASIN now available alongside SKU for every Order/Refund event
    • More marketplace details on fees for better clustering
    • More order_id coverage for grouping by Orders

No schema-breaking changes. Existing queries will continue to work.
