Walmart Marketplace is an eCommerce platform that enables Sellers to list and sell their products on Walmart.com.

Data Models

Walmart Seller data can be found in the FINANCE schema. Tables are prefixed with WMT. Example: FINANCE.WMT_MARKETPLACE_ITEMS

Data is refreshed daily.

Tables

• WMT_MARKETPLACE_ITEMS
  • This table stores product listings for Walmart Marketplace, including identifiers, pricing, availability, condition, status, and publishing details for inventory management.
• WMT_MARKETPLACE_ORDERS
  • This table stores Walmart Marketplace order details, including order IDs, product info, pricing, customer data, fulfillment, shipping, and status for tracking and processing.

Data Considerations

• Backfilling: On the first connection, we collect 90 days of historical data. After that, we continue to store all new data going forward.
• Data Availaility: Data covers the previous day.
• Data Refresh: A second data refresh takes place 15 days after the first download.
• Data Updates: Walmart does not update reports after 14 days, so we always fetch the most recent consolidated version available.

Walmart Connect

Walmart Connect is Walmart’s retail media platform that helps brands reach shoppers through targeted ads using Walmart’s first-party data across digital and in-store channels.

Connecting your Walmart Connect account allows you to automatically collect your advertising data and facilitate reporting on it, store it to prevent data loss, and consolidate it with other metrics such as financial and search data to get a unified view of how advertising impacts other parts of your business.
