The Difference Between Sourcing and Manufacturing

Sourcing

Sourcing refers to products that Amazon purchases directly from your vendor account.

This unlock the Sourcing view of Amazon allowing you to see your own contribution to sales only.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing refers to products that belong to your brand (you are the manufacturer).

This unlock the Manufacturing view of Amazon allowing you to see the total performance of your product on Amazon, regardless of who supplied it.

Why this matters?

Amazon provides different "views" of your data depending on how products are sourced. These views determine what you see in Vendor Analytics and in DataHawk.
