This page walks you through creating your first alert in DataHawk — from picking a product to receiving the email.

⚠️ Before you start

Make sure you've already:

• Added at least one product to track in your workspace

Step 1: Open the Alerts module

From the left navigation, go to Apps → Alerts.

If this is your first time, you'll see an empty Alerts list and a Create alert button at the top right.

Step 2: Pick what you want to be alerted on

Click Create alert. You'll be offered two paths:

Preset triggers — DataHawk's most-used templates. Good if you want to get going fast. Examples:

• Going out of stock
• Losing the Buy Box
• Significant price decrease (10%+)
• Becoming a best seller
• Changes in star ratings

Custom triggers — for when you need a specific rule. You'll pick a property, an operator, and a value. See Custom triggers for details.
